Students and faculty at the Dent Elementary School in Escalon participated in a safety presentation on September 9, 2007 presented by the Escalon Fire District which was part of Fire Prevention Month. The presentation was designed for students from Kindergarten through 3rd grade who were taught how to "stop, drop and roll" in case their clothes caught fire. Department equipment was also demonstrated.
